Sonakshi Sinha and Fawad Khan will showcase the love of Sahir
Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam through a film. The love life of Sahir Ludhianvi,
an ace poet and a beautiful woman called Amrita Pritam will come to life very
soon on the big screen.
If reports are to be believed, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun
Kapoor were first offered the film. However, for reasons best known to them,
they did not accept the film. When both the stars refused to sign the film, the
film makers had to make a new search for both of them.
And yes, this will yet again be a film that will see a fresh
pair on the silver screen very soon. We have an example of another fresh and
new pair on the screen in the form of Alia Bhatt and Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sonakshi will play the role of Amrita, while Fawad will be
seen as her husband. However, the search for a male lead to play the lyricist
is still on.
