Abbas-Mustan wants Deepika Padukone for Race 2

It is still suspense who the female protagonist in Race 2 will be, though Deepika Padukone is the first choice for Abbas-Mustan. However, for Deepika Padukone, it is Ayann Mukerji’s film Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani as her first priority. In this film Ranbir Kapoor is opposite Deepika. But Deepika’s schedule is too tight that she might reluctantly have to quit Race 2.

Sources say that Deepika is committed to the film Rana in which the south icon, Rajanikanth is opposite her. She also told the director Ravi Kumar of mapping the shooting program as her dates are available.

Reports said due to the busy schedule of Deepika, producer Ramesh Taurani and the pair of the director Abbas-Mustan were contemplating to consider Priyanka Chopra. It is reported that Priyanka Chopra being finalized for Race 2 to and she has began the shooting of the film with Saif Ali Khan. But a confidential source said the directors are still interested in Deepika.

There is no doubt that the directors are too awed with the chemistry of Deepika and Saif Ali Khan. It is important that Deepika play lead female role opposite Saif in 3 films, which are Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail, and Aarakshan. That is why the director duo is eager to cast Deepika in Race 2.

The sexy leggy, Deepika Padukone will make her appearance as a guest celebrity on the reality show Emotional Atyachaar 3. She will be accompanied by Prakash Jha. Deepika Padukone and Prakash Jha, who is the director of the film Aarakshan, will be there to promote their film, which is scheduled for release in the next month - August 12 .

Deepika says that her character in the film is facing a real problem and finds herself between the devil and the deep blue sea. On one hand, there is her father and on the other, her boyfriend. She does not understand on whose stand she should stay and whom to support.

Amitabh Bachchan can’t promote Aarakshan in Lucknow University

In one of the rare no’s to Amitabh Bachchan, he was disallowed from promoting his upcoming film Aarakshan in the campus of the Lucknow University. Big B, along with the director of the film Prakash Jha, had shown interest in visiting the Lucknow University for the promotion purposes.

But the reason for not allowing Amitabh Bachchan to come there to promote the film was the topic of the film itself. Aarakshan as the name itself suggests, deals with the story of reservation. ‘This is a pretty sensitive issue and therefore, not fit to be promoted in the University campus,’ was the reason put forth for denying the Big B a chance.

Big B and Prakash Jha were supposed to meet and interact with the students in the campus and talk about the subject on which the film is based.

The spokesperson of the Lucknow University said that it is not only a sensitive issue but also a controversial one. That is why the Lucknow University has come to a decision of not giving the due permission for anyone to promote the film there.

However, the Lucknow University spokesperson has said that if Amitabh Bachchan wants to pay a visit to the Lucknow University for any other reason other than film promotion, then he is welcome.

Saif Ali Khan doesn’t allow anyone to touch 'Kareena'

You should not be surprised if you hear that Saif Ali Khan does not allow anyone to touch Kareena. Well, is Kareena Saif’s personal property? But she is not married to him yet. And anyways, a wife cannot be called as a ‘property’. Then why is it that Saif is guarding Kareena up to that extent?

As a matter of fact, ‘Kareena’ is the tattoo on his forearm we are talking about. Saif Ali, who has got a tattoo on his forearm, is his very cautious about these things. He has not given the permission to anyone to touch it – even for the makeup men on the sets of the films for which he is shooting.

It is but obvious that Kareena Kapoor herself is the only other person who is allowed to touch ‘Kareena’. While doing make up for his character in the film Aarakshan, he was cautious of ‘Kareena’. As he plays the character of a Dalit, he required some sort of makeup.

However, he did not allow anyone to touch his forearm. He did all the makeup on his forearm all by himself, where ‘Kareena’ mattered the most.

After all, the love speaks for itself. In Saif’s case, it shows for itself!
