Mahie Gill will be seen in a sensuous avatar in the upcoming
film, which is the remake of Zanjeer. That is making Mahie thrilled and
excited. There are actually a couple of reasons for the actress to be excited –
first is the sensuous role that she is getting a chance to portray.
Secondly, Mahie is also thrilled about the dance number that
will be shot on her. Mahie will be playing the very same role that Bindu
essayed in the original film. The original film had come in 1973 and was made
by Prakash Mehra. Amitabh Bachchan was tagged as the angry young man in the film
then.
Mahie is well-known for her performances in films like Dev D
and the more recent Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. She got a lot of praise for both
these films and that has made her one of the actresses to reckon with in Bollywood.
The actress will also be performing on a dance number and she
says that is new to her. In fact, Mahie said that the clothes that she is seen
wearing in the song are new to her.
