Shruti Haasan is indeed relishing the week as she has two
releases this Friday – D-Day and love story Ramaiya Vastavaiya. She is having
both hands full as there is a win-win situation for her. D-day is a spy
thriller, while Ramaiya Vastavaiya is a love story.
She has essayed different roles in these two films. In D-Day
she will be seen as a sex worker. She is seen as a woman who is caught in loads
of terrible and dreadful things. However, her role in Ramaiya Vastavaiya is
quite different. She is a lovely and sweet girl in this film.
Speaking about her roles, she said that an actor wants to essay
as many different roles as possible. As far as her roles are concerned, she has
a mix of two very dissimilar roles going in front of the audience at the same
time. She was speaking during the special screening of D-Day.
The film also features Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Huma
Qureshi along with Irrfan.
