In his upcoming film Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Shahid Kapoor will
be seen playing the character of Salman Khan’s fan. Shahid says that he has
done a cameo in the film that will see him doing the role of Salman’s fan. Ileana
D’cruz will be seen in the female lead role.
Referring to Salman Khan as ‘Salman Sir’, Shahid said that Salman
sir was kind enough for doing the special role in this film. Shahid Kapoor was
speaking during a press meeting organized for the film.
Rajkumar Santoshi is the director of Phata Poster Nikla Hero.
He had managed to rope in Salman Khan for another cameo in a previous film Ajab
Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
Elaborating on the character Shahid plays, he says, he (his
character in the film) is a huge fan of Salman Khan. The character in the film is
once seen in a Being Human T shirt as well. Being Human is an NGO run by Salman
Khan.
The character played by Shahid Kapoor once goes with his
mother to buy vegetables. However, both his hands are full and he is eating a
banana as he walks past a huge billboard. There he gets involved and gets lost
seeing a poster of Dabangg 2.
