Akshay Kumar will return to action as the host of Khatron Ke Khiladi 4. If the reason for this is to be believed, then it has become a prestige point for Akki, who has agreed to host the show with lesser fees. Well, the reason is not Priyanka Chopra, who hosted the third season of the show, but the real reason is Salman Khan.Well now you may wonder what Salman Khan has to do with Khatron Ke Khiladi at all as he has never been the part of the show at all. Well, that is the point. He has never been a part – host of the show is true. However, he is proving to be a great danger for Akshay Kumar and is the next potential host of the show.
The show is very special and near to Akshay Kumar as he loves stunts and actions and the reality show – Khatron Ke Khiladi deals exactly with the same. It is the Indian version of the immensely popular Fear Factor.
Coming back to the show, the fourth season will see 13 male contestants with their 13 female partners. The stunts will be more rigorous than that of what we had seen in the previous three segments. The exciting thing for the winner is that, he will be given the prize of ‘Thumps Up Thunder Star’. The winner will also feature in the ad campaign with Akshay Kumar for the Thumps Up ads.
Akki has himself had a lot of training to do for this season.
