Shiney Ahuja finally gets bail from the Bombay High Court

The accused in the domestic help rape case, Bollywood actor Shiney got bail from Bombay High Court. The actor got the bail after furnishing a cash bond of Rs. 50,000. The developments about Ahuja getting the bail were made public by his lawyer immediately.
Had he not got the bail, Shiney Ahuja might have had to go to jail for as many as seven years. It was on March 30 that the Mumbai sessions court had sentenced Shiney Ahuja in jail for the seven year period. This sentence came after Shiney was found guilty of raping his domestic help around a couple of years ago, in June 2009.
As per the laws, Shiney Ahuja will have to co-operate with the investigating agencies as and when the requirement arises. Secondly, Mr. Ahuja will not be able to go abroad without the permission of the law.
During the course of the action since its beginning, Shiney constantly kept telling that he was framed in this case. He was first arrested on June 15, 2009. When his domestic help went through the primary medical tests, it was found that she was indeed sexually assaulted.
But in September 2010, the domestic help went on to tell the court that she was never raped by Shiney Ahuja. But at the same time, the truth behind the medical tests cannot be sidelined either.
