Deepika Padukone’s skirt to be auctioned for Salman Khan’s Being Human

Deepika Padukone’s skirt which she used for her item song in Dum Maaro Dum will be auctioned soon. The proceedings of the auction will go to Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation. It was the idea of director Rohan Sippy to get the skirt for the auction.
There was some discussion as to who should be the beneficiary of the proceedings. There were a few names suggested, which were not disclosed, but as and when the decision was to be finalized, there was literally no second opinion. It was decided that Salman Khan’s NGO Being Human would be the ultimate beneficiary.
The auctioning will be made through the official web site of the film. It would be assisted by a portal that exclusively deals with auctioning. That would certainly make the auctioning process a lot easier.
As the news about the auctioning spread, Deepika’s mini skirt has been in huge demand. There are two surprising things about the song and the skirt put up for auctioning. On one hand, the song is facing a lot of criticism. However, there is a lot of demand for the skirt itself. This came to the notice during the survey of the Dum Maaro Dum team in India.
