Veteran actor Rami Reddy dies at the age of 52



The veteran actor of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and Bhojpuri films, Rami Reddy passed away this morning during an ongoing treatment for his kidney disorder. Rami Reddy was 52 years old and has left behind him a family of two daughters and a son. The last rites of the actor will be performed this evening.
He was undergoing treatment for a couple of weeks now. However, his end came at a private hospital in Secunderabad. He breathed his last at around 11 am. The actor is remembered for his negative roles for which he was and will be best remembered. He played the role of a villain prominently in Hindi and Telugu.
Ankusam was his first major hit which came in 1990. Since then he acted in as many as 250 films in five languages. His roles were appreciated a lot and his best portrayal was that of a bad man.
Rami Reddy came from Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Before making it big in the film industry, he was a journalist. However, more than his journalism, he is known as an actor.
