It is but natural for the stars to hike their fees after
success. Priyanka Chopra and Barfi are no excuse either. Priyanka has
reported charged as much as Rs. 1 cores for walking the ramp of a fashion show
in Delhi. A fashion show kicks off the next week in the city.
As a matter of fact, Priyanka is the brand ambassador of the
show. So, it was pretty much natural for them to approach PC first. However,
hearing her demand, it was evident that there would be no further progress with
the deal. The designer could not afford such a huge amount to pay to Piggy
Chops.
Such celebrities are generally paid around Rs. 30 lakhs for
such shows. A whooping amount that is more than three times high was not going
to do any good to the show. The organizers had to look for a different celebrity
then.
However, a source close to Priyanka has said that the actress
was going to leave for Los Angles in a couple of days. So there was no way she
would walk the ramp.
