Ulta Pulta fame Jaspal Bhatti dies in road accident

The Ulta Pulta actor and comedian is Jaspal Bhatti no more. The veteran actor, who was 57, died in a road accident. The accident took place at around 3 a.m. in Nakodar town in Punjab. According to the police, the actor was going to Jalandhar from Bathinda. He was busy with the promotion of his film Power Cut.
Apart from Ulta Pulta, his another serial, Flop Show was also very popular.
He was immediately taken to a Jalandhar hospital. However, he was declared dead when arrived. He was in his car which ran into a tree along the highway. Jaspal Bhatti’s son Jasraj was with him in the car when the accident took place. The youngster got injured in the accident.
Apart from these two, Surili Gautam – the heroine in the film and one person were also injured in the accident. The treatment is on at the Jalandhar hospital.
As far as Power Cut is concerned, the senior Bhatti had produced as well as directed the film. His son Jasraj was to be launched through Power Cut. The film was supposed to be released on Friday.
Rest in peace, Jaspal Bhatti and wish a speedy recovery for those injured!
