A little birdie says that it is Khichdi and not Shaitan as the first film of Kirti Kulhari. This is how Kirti clears the air about the misunderstandings that took place during Khichdi. According to Kirti, Khichdi was indeed her first film. However, it was the lack of recognition that proved costly.
She further adds that, the lack of recognition was due to the fact that there were popular and established artists performing in the film. That is why it was difficult for get to get noticed by anyone.
However, she is very optimistic about Shaitan. She feels that she has done a pretty good job in the film. She even says that Anurag Kahsyap, who has produced the film, has also appreciated her role and characterization.
