Salman Khan starrer Ready is the second biggest opener

It is Salman Khan all over again. His sheer magical performance has worked again for his film Ready. The film has worked its magic both in India and out of the country as well. In the first week itself, the film has grossed an amount of Rs. 40.5 crores in India alone. The film faired quite well overseas too, collecting Rs. 8.25 crores.

Incidentally, it was Salman Khan again, who was involved in the highest grosser. No reason to make a separate mention that it was the film Dabangg. The film had collected a whopping amount of Rs. 48.5 crores.

The main foreign market for the film proved to be England, United States, Australia and New Zealand only.

As far as the business in India is concerned, the first day of the film saw a collection of Rs. 13.15, the second day saw the film collect Rs. 12.25 crores. However, the third day saw the highest collection. The collection touched Rs. 15.25 crores. Maybe because it was a holiday – Sunday, that the film grossed the highest amount.
