The opportunist is back. Poonam Pandey, who speaks more than her actions, has said that it was her wish that M F Husain painted her. It was her genuine wish that the great man paints her. She was speaking while offering her obituary after getting the news of Husain’s death.
She twitted that it was a sad day for India who had lost a great painter. She also twitted that it was her wish to get painted like M F painted Madhuri Dixit. “I guess my wish wud be just a Dream!!! Just a DREAM”, is what Poonam finally said.
No doubt, MFH was a great painter. His brush and the colors did the talking for her. However, Poonam was expecting too much, either from M F Husain or of herself. One has to achieve something in life before putting forth such a desire. Honestly enough, what has this young model achieved in life to get painted from a man who lived and breathed passion for his art.
Just a (false promise of) skin show is no merit to for such a wish. However, a round of applause for Poonam, who knew how to come back in the news.
