Madhur Bhandarkar refuses to shoot with pregnant Aishwarya Rai

When on one hand there is the positivity and celebrations of Aishwarya Rai getting pregnant, Madhur Bhandarkar, is an unhappy man. Let us admit it, he is unhappy professionally. After a lot of trouble, his project, Heroine, finally started. However, with the news of Ash conceiving, the project is likely to come to a standstill again.
Until the Big B broke the news of his daughter-in-law’s pregnancy, Madhur was planning it big for his film. He was totally unaware of what in waiting for him was. There was the glamour to be put in and so were there the scenes which are expected of a celebrity heroine.
Amongst what Madhur had planned were some smoking scenes, run around and of course, dance. If Aishwarya is not available to do all these scenes, there is no point in going ahead, Madhur thought. The reason was that, a pregnant woman is barred from doing all these activities.
When on one hand Aishwarya is ready to go ahead with the shoot, Madhur is not at all inclined for the same. He thinks, Ash may as well be ready to shoot for now, but when it comes to the post production and the promotion of the film, Ash might not be available.
It is understood that, the production house has suffered losses in crores.
