Lady Gaga attacked with eggs while promoting Born This Way

The American singer Lady Gaga, who is in Australia to promote her album, Born This Way, received a very cold response when she was attacked, guess, with what? Eggs. Lady Gaga was at the nightclub in Sydney when some pranksters took advantage of the situation and pelted eggs on her.

As a matter of fact, the eggs did not hit the singer, but unfortunately hit the bystander there. Her short stay at the nightclub, which was marred by the egg-throwing incident, is not the first of its kinds in Sydney in the recent past.

Earlier too, such incident had happened. That time too, there was another singer who was targeted. Justin Bieber, had to bear the brunt of the Aussie ‘outrage’.

Coming back to Lady Gaga’s incident, this trip to Australia is the one she will like to forget as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the egg-throwing episode comes close on the heels of the honorary citizenship of Sydney which was bestowed on Lady Gaga for her support to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community.
